Key Info for Each Step of the Enrollment Process

  1. Intake
    • The intake form can be completed online, by phone, or submitted via US mail or email.
    • The intake form is designed to collect basic information about your needs and will help us identify which programs and services may be a good fit for you!
    • After the intake form is submitted, a Travel Navigator will review the information provided and follow up with the applicant or their preferred delegate (typically a friend, family member, or social worker) within two business days to schedule the interview.
  2. Interview
    • All applicants will be required to complete an interview. Interviews will take approximately thirty minutes and will provide time for applicants to ask questions about the programs and services recommended to them. The applicant must participate in the interview, but may be assisted by a delegate of their choice. Translation assistance is available if needed.
    • Applicants that miss our call at the scheduled time of the interview have a ten-minute grace period. If they return our call within 10 minutes, they may be transferred to an enrollment specialist to proceed with the interview. Note that the interview may need to be cut short to keep us on schedule for other pre-scheduled interviews; if necessary, we will schedule additional time with the applicant. If the applicant does not return our call within 10 minutes, the interview will need to be rescheduled. To reschedule an interview, call 415-454-0902.
    • Once the interview is complete, applicants will receive an enrollment packet that identifies required documentation and details next steps.
  3. Documentation
    • Marin Access applicants must submit various forms of documentation based on what they are applying for. All applicants will receive a summary of what they are required to submit following the interview.
    • Forms and documentation should not be submitted in advance of completion of the intake form, the interview, or receipt of the enrollment packet.
    • Submitting forms and/or documentation early does not speed up the process or eliminate the need for the initial steps.
