By ditching the car and using public transit, you can help reduce carbon emissions, save money on gas, and do your part to keep the air clean. We encourage you to consider using transit on Earth Day and every day! 

Join Marin Transit as we celebrate Transit Equity Day and offer free fares on all Marin Transit local buses Thursday, February 4, 2027!

This Transit Equity Day, in honor of Rosa Parks and others who helped launch the civil rights movement and helped end segregation on public transit, all trips on Marin Transit local buses will be free of charge!

This promotion does not apply to Marin Access programs and services.

On Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2026, all trips on Marin Transit local buses will be free!

Clean Air Day allows you take an individual pledge to challenge yourself to take the actions we know are essential to clean air. Here are some ways that you can contribute:

Marin Transit is proud to be a sponsor and host a booth at the Marin Senior Fair again in 2026. Join us on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at the Marin Center Exhibit Hall to learn about Marin Transit local bus service, Marin Access programs for older adults and people with disabilities, transit discounts available via Clipper, and more. 

Join the Travel Navigators at the Bolinas Community Center Food Bank on June 4, 2026. Our team will be available to provide information and answer any questions regarding the transportation options available to community members.
