  • The Future of Fares on Marin Transit is Clipper: Clipper is the Bay Area’s transit fare payment system—and the best choice when you ride Marin Transit. Marin Transit riders using Clipper can save money in a variety of ways—reduced adult fares, free and discounted transfers, frequent rider maximums, and access to discount cards for eligible riders. Available on your phone or as a plastic card, Clipper is accepted on all Bay Area transit agencies. Add cash value or transit passes and pay fares with a tap! Visit marintransit.gov/clipper for more information.
  • We Want to Hear from You! Transit Tip of the Month:

  • As part of the Next-Generation Clipper system rollout, all Bay Area transit riders can pay adult fares using cards you already have in your wallet: plastic or mobile contactless bank cards—credit or debit—Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover. To ensure that the correct card gets charged, riders should remove their card from their wallet before tapping. Riders paying with a mobile device should select their preferred payment in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Want to learn more? Visit marintransit.gov/clipper.
