Kerner Boulevard Redevelopment Project

Marin Transit is in the process of a redevelopment project on Kerner Boulevard in San Rafael, CA. In 2022 we opened a vehicle maintenance facility for our demand-response fleet. Currently, we are working on an adjacent project which will eventually be combined into an integrated parking, maintenance, and electric vehicle charging facility for our demand response fleet.

The ongoing project at 3010 & 3020 Kerner will demolish the existing office structures and make minor improvements to the site, including installation of a solar panel canopy, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, paving, parking lot striping, perimeter fencing, an electronic  gate, and lighting improvements for security.

  • Phase 1: Demolition of existing buildings (completed)
  • Phase 2: Construction of parking facility and charging infrastructure (in progress)
