April 2026 Service Changes

Marin-Sonoma Coordinated Transit Service (MASCOTS) Plan Launches April 12, 2026 | More Service - Better Connections along the Highway 101 Corridor: As part of regional coordination efforts, in April 2026, Golden Gate Transit, Marin Transit, and SMART are making service changes to improve connections and coordination between agencies to offer more frequent service for riders. 

To support these improvements and to adjust service to meet the needs of the community, Marin Transit will be making schedule changes to the following routes: 17, 22, 23, 29, 35, 36, 49, 57, 71, 219, 613, and 619. 

• 17: Removal of Strawberry from weekday morning and afternoon trips, addition of Strawberry to weekday and weekend nighttime northbound trips, minor weekday schedule adjustments. (schedule eff. 4/12/26)
• 22: Removal of service to Strawberry from southbound trips, cancellation of 6:30am southbound trip and 7:04am northbound trip, weekday and weekend schedule adjustments.(schedule eff. 4/12/26)
• 23: Minor weekday and weekend schedule adjustments. (schedule eff. 4/12/26)
• 29: Cancel route. Route 629 will replace the portion of the route that serves students travelling between Larkspur and Corte Madera.
• 30: New route that replaces Route 35 trips that operate between the Canal to the San Rafael Transit Center. (schedule eff. 4/12/26)
• 35: Trips that operate between the Canal to San Rafael Transit Center will be replaced by Route 30, two additional northbound trips, two additional southbound trips, minor weekday and weekend schedule adjustments. (schedule eff. 4/12/26)
• 36: Cancellation of the following weekday trips: northbound at 6:15am, 3:01pm, and 8:46pm; southbound at 5:23am, 3:53pm, and 7:23pm, cancellation of the 7:14am northbound weekend trip, minor weekday and weekend schedule adjustments. (schedule eff. 4/12/26)
• 49: Cancellation of the weekend 10:06pm southbound trip, minor weekday schedule adjustments. (schedule eff. 4/12/26)
• 57: Cancellation of the weekday 1:18pm northbound trip, removal of Vintage Oaks from the following weekday trips: northbound at 3:18pm; southbound at 8:30am; southbound at 1:20pm, minor weekday schedule adjustments. (schedule eff. 4/12/26)
• 71: Northern terminus moved to San Marin SMART station, alignment change to serve the Marin Community Clinic on Redwood Blvd, minor weekday and weekend schedule adjustments. Route will no longer serve Rowland and DeLong bus pads and stops at DeLong and Reichert. (schedule eff. 4/12/26)
• 219: Major weekday and weekend schedule adjustments. (schedule eff. 4/12/26)
• 245: The stop in the Health and Human Services parking lot will be moved outside of the parking lot. (schedule eff. 4/12/26)
• 613: Minor eastbound schedule adjustments. (schedule eff. 4/12/26)
• 619: Cancellation of early afternoon trips. (schedule eff. 4/12/26)
• 629: New route that replaces Route 29 and goes from Hall Middle School to Paradise Cay. (schedule eff. 4/12/26)
